Kate is a health & wellness coach striving to inspire those around her live healthier, happier lives. She has an extensive background in nutrition, supplementation, and weight loss. Kate started in the field over ten years ago managing a nutrition store. She was only the second female store manager to be promoted in the 12 years the store was open. It was not only a major personal accomplishment but here she was able to solidify that the health and wellness industry was where her heart was. She managed the store for six years specializing in personal supplementation models tailored specifically to the individual client, along with training and education for the staff. This is where her niche set in for nutrition education.
Simultaneously, between the end of high school and throughout college, Kate started dealing with a slew of health issues. Her day to day life became bombarded with stints of illness, migraines, and constant doctors’ visits. With little help from her doctors and no improvement in her health, she made it her mission to conduct research, speak to some of the top naturopathic doctors and nutritionists, hire a new team of holistic health professionals, and learn how food, rather than medicine, can heal the body. It has been years of intensive work, but she has learned a wealth of knowledge, and has started curing her aliments without western medication. She believes our society needs to focus on prevention versus treatment.
“Our diet is a simple way to prevent many diseases. Almost every disease can be tracked to links in our food chain. If we can educate people on how to be healthy individuals from the start, others wouldn’t have to go through what I went through.” Quoted above is one of Kate’s sole focuses as a health coach. “I have made it my mission to provide education to the public, which led me to start “Ask Kate,” my wellness coaching business.” Her mission has been founded as "Making Healthy Attractive." She can help you and your family achieve personal goals in a healthy affordable way. Operating in the health and wellness industry she can help with removing environmental exposure to toxins and provide natural solutions to the most common health concerns of today.
She is currently enrolled in a Masters of Science in Applied Nutrition with a concentration in Obesity and Nutritional Health program at Northeastern University. It is her goal to offer you the latest knowledge related to food and nutrition. “Education is vital in a coach’s career path as things are constantly evolving. It is my mission to help my clients be successful and with that I dedicate significant time to research in the field.”
She is excited to help you on your path and start making your goals a reality!
